She is one of the most underrated actresses in Philippine show business and she has gone on to take a break and move to a more private life overseas. I made a portrait of this celebrity not so long ago, I think shortly before her leave from the TV show where she was one of numerous "hosts" and life in the limelight altogether as a request from a long-time friend of mine who had a deeper relationship with her back then.
This one though was done as a practice for a different request that was supposed to be paid until the would-be buyer changed his mind.
I had this same reference around when I did the first portrait but I think I did a better job with it this time than I would have back then.
Portrait gigs like this is available on my Facebook page and may be ordered via DM's.

Character design late 2018
These are some character design pinups ordered from my Fiverr page as 2018 was winding down. Every time I do some redesigns and drawing action poses I feel like a kid creating my own characters and I try to be in the same mindset of the original creators. It helps a lot in making the art better in the proverbial "owning it"kind of way.
Each time, I feel like I'm living the dream of being a professional comic book artists like the ones that inspired me back then and the ones that still inspire me now.
I guess it shows in my work that some commissions seem to look better and I admit there are jobs that I enjoy more than others but that is also from the energy and enthusiasm I get off of the buyer.
When creators themselves order these gigs they are more enthusiastic themselves about the project and communicate a lot more about the characters than middle men just passing of a job and expecting me to do more while offering to pay less. That is to say there are also creators who don't seem to love their creations enough to be willing to give what is fair in exchange for the time and effort we artists give for them to see their brainchild come alive.
I'm grateful that these came out as good as I can make make them and better the client expected.
