Inspired by a behind the scenes photo posted by director Zack Snyder of Henry Cavill wearing a black colored version of the Superman costume possibly for a scene in the unreleased version of the Justice League movie. The black suit is obviously a call back to the restoration suit that was used in the comics after Kal-El was revived following the events of the Death of Superman saga where the
Man of Steel was apparently killed by the Kryptonian bio-weapon, Doomsday.
I wish audiences could have been given the chance to see the Justice League movie that Snyder originally intended. Mr. Snyder's DC movies especially Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may be one of the most polarizing comic book adaptation ever, but it was obvious that it was building up to something that would pay off for the fans given the continuity despite somewhat variance in tones among the other DC Cinematic Universe releases including Wonder Woman, Suicide squad, Aquaman and Shazam.
I drew this in support of the movement to encourage Warner Bros Pictures to let the general audience view for their own judgment and enjoyment the Justice League movie that Zack Snyder originally created.
